William Byron achieved a landmark victory at the 2024 Daytona 500, marking his first win in the race and the 11th in his Cup Series career, on the 40th anniversary of Hendrick Motorsports' NASCAR debut. This win ties Hendrick Motorsports with the most Daytona victories and makes it the first team to win in five different decades. The race concluded with Byron leading as a late-race caution secured his victory. Teammate Alex Bowman finished second, demonstrating Hendrick Motorsports' dominance. This victory not only celebrates the team's 40-year legacy but also positions Byron among the elite drivers who have won the Daytona 500 for Hendrick Motorsports. The team looks forward to continuing its success as the season moves to Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Don Novo & Son Recalls Ready-To-Eat Meat Products Due to Possible Listeria Contamination
Don Novo & Son, a Miami, Fla. establishment, is recalling approximately 9,330 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) meat products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 34257” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in Florida. See more labels here.
The problem was discovered when FSIS was notified that a sample collected by a state public health partner tested positive for the presence of L. monocytogenes.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact a healthcare provider.
Consumption of food contaminated with L. monocytogenes can cause listeriosis, a serious infection that primarily affects older adults, persons with weakened immune systems, and pregnant women and their newborns. Less commonly, persons outside these risk groups are affected.
