43-year-old Joseph Bartlett was arrested for arson after setting a shed ablaze twice on Collins Street. Despite his claims of property ownership, Bartlett, who had been previously trespassed from the location for being homeless, was caught red-handed by police emerging from the inferno. A Rare Rumble Rocks the Northeast, Is Florida Vulnerable?

Yesterday morning, New Jersey was hit by a 4.8 magnitude earthquake, marking the state's strongest seismic event in 50 years and sending tremors through New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Experts, noting the rarity of such a strong quake in the region, highlighted the unusual nature of this seismic event.

The updated National Seismic Hazard Model by the USGS indicates a low but not negligible chance of significant seismic events in Florida, challenging the perception of the state's seismic safety.
