Keith Perry, seeks to eliminate confusion by explicitly stating that the left lane on highways with speed limits of 65 mph or higher is for passing only. This effort aims not only to enhance road safety but also to reduce road rage incidents caused by drivers who occupy the left lane without passing. The bill has passed both the Florida House and Senate and awaits the Governor's signature to become law, potentially imposing a $158 fine on violators.

While Florida only witnessed a partial eclipse, the experience was still a profound one for Kemp-Brown's students, highlighting the importance of the atmosphere and the sun's corona. Kemp-Brown viewed the event as an answer to students' questions about the practical application of their lessons, hoping it would encourage them to share their newfound knowledge with family.
