Community Awaits Belvedere's Move in Fuel Terminal Saga

Ormond Beach residents and activist groups opposing Belvedere Terminals' proposed fuel depot at 874 Hull Road, fearing safety and environmental impacts, are awaiting the next move from Belvedere. After submitting a revised plan featuring six fuel tanks, Belvedere faced significant opposition due to zoning conflicts and a lack of community support in utilities provisioning. Local authorities and residents are still awaiting the company's response to the county's queries, with no set deadline. Meanwhile, upcoming county council discussions on zoning may dictate future developments. Community efforts to resist the project continue, with plans to amplify their stance at the city's Earth Day celebration.
