AdventHealth Daytona Beach has earned the elite Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification, a first in Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties, solidifying its status as a top-tier provider of serious stroke care. This designation, awarded by DNV based on stringent standards, places the hospital at the forefront of regional stroke treatment. Amidst these developments, AdventHealth Daytona Beach is also undergoing a $220 million expansion to enhance its facilities, including a specialized unit for stroke care. The expansion is partly funded by a significant donation from local philanthropists, which has also facilitated the launch of a dedicated neuroscience center.
