Cavatelli Pasta Kitchen Closes Abruptly

After opening to great fanfare on February 1st, Cavatelli Pasta Kitchen closed abruptly last Friday evening. Surprised employees were notified at the close of business that the restaurant would be closing permanently immediately.

The restaurant was closed the weekend before due to a refrigeration issue and had transitioned to full-service format last week. We have no further information at this time.

At the Memorial Day Remembrance Service at Rockefeller Gardens in Ormond Beach, keynote speaker Pierre Louis, a retired Marine, reflected on his inspiration to join the service—his uncle, a Vietnam War casualty. The event, filled with traditional military honors and acknowledgments of community contributors, reinforced themes of sacrifice and unity. Louis highlighted the shared national legacy of freedom and service, connecting his personal history with broader American values.
