Investigation Concludes at Holly Hill Police Dept., Shocking’ Misconduct Found

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office has completed an investigation into misconduct at the Holly Hill Police Department, leading to significant resignations. The report, described as "shocking" by Sheriff Mike Chitwood, is under review by the city manager, who will decide on the appropriate action within 45 days, after which the results of the investigation will be made public. The investigation, which included over 30 interviews, aims to address and reform the department’s internal culture.
