Nicholas P. Nisivoccia, 33, Misty Falls Dr., Ormond Beach, has been arrested on 45 counts of possessing child pornography following a VSO Child Exploitation Unit investigation of a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

After obtaining a search warrant, VSO detectives discovered explicit videos on Nisivoccia’s electronic devices which depict sexual abuse of female and male victims ranging in age from infant to 12 years old. Detectives believe he downloaded the images.

Nisivoccia was arrested Thursday and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail where he remains held pending a first court appearance.

Anyone with information about any case involving potential sexual abuse of a child is encouraged to contact the Child Exploitation Unit at (386) 323-3574. Sourcec: Volusia County Sheriff News Release

Boar's Head Recalls Liverwurst Nationwide Over Listeria Concerns

Courtesy FDA

Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc., based in Jarratt, Virginia, is recalling all liverwurst products currently on the market due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. This recall also extends to additional deli meats produced on the same day and line as the affected liverwurst, totaling approximately 207,528 pounds.

The affected liverwurst products were made between June 11, 2024, and July 17, 2024, and are labeled with sell-by dates ranging from July 25, 2024, to August 30, 2024. The recall includes 3.5-pound loaves in plastic casings and variously weighted packages sliced for retail. Products were distributed nationwide to retail delis and carry the establishment number “EST. 12612” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The issue came to light after a sample collected by the Maryland Department of Health tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes. An ongoing investigation is trying to determine if this sample is linked to a broader outbreak. Consumers who have purchased these products should seek medical advice if concerned about potential illness. Learn More Details and Other Products Recalled
