🚧 Bridge Work Rolls On

Volusia County’s rehabilitation project on the L.B. Knox Bridge in Ormond Beach remains on track, with one of the new deck sections recently completed. The stretch of Highbridge Road between Walter Boardman Lane and the bridge will remain closed through May 1. Crews are resurfacing the road while improving the bridge’s reliability. In the meantime, drivers and pedestrians should detour via Granada Bridge or State Road 100.

📚 Novel Tea Turns Two

Ormond Beach’s Novel Tea Book Shop is celebrating its second anniversary on Saturday, April 26, coinciding with Independent Bookstore Day. Founded by Stephanie Gonter in 2023, the shop is planning a day of literary festivities from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., including local authors, a golden ticket giveaway, henna art, and a flower bunch bar. It’s a fitting tribute to a business that blends books with community building.

👑 Seabreeze Names Royalty

Seabreeze High School has crowned its Mr. and Miss Seabreeze 2025-2026: juniors Chris Ward and Caley Linzmayer.
