⭐ SpaceX Launches, Michael & Joann

SpaceX

🚀 A Double Dose of SpaceX Excitement

Florida’s skies are about to get very busy. SpaceX is preparing for a rare “doubleheader” rocket launch on Tuesday, June 10, offering a prime photo-op for early risers and night owls alike. First up is Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4), sending four astronauts—including the legendary Peggy Whitson—to the International Space Station aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9. Just minutes later, another Falcon 9 will carry a fresh batch of Starlink satellites into orbit from nearby Cape Canaveral. Best beach views? Anywhere in Volusia looking south—just don’t forget your camera. Expect sonic booms and a little space-induced awe, starting at 8:22 a.m. EDT.

🧵 Michaels Patches the Hole Left by Joann

If you’ve been mourning the loss of Joann stores, dry your tears—Michaels is stepping up in a big way. The arts and crafts chain just acquired Joann’s intellectual property and private label brands after the 80-year-old company shuttered more than 800 stores. Florida alone lost 23 locations, but Michaels is expanding fabric, sewing, and yarn offerings across 680 stores—soon to grow to 960. Shoppers can expect new machines from Brother and SINGER, 60+ new yarns, and even beloved Big Twist products hitting shelves. A dedicated landing page and curated selection are also in the works to welcome Joann fans into the Michaels fold.
