🏍️The fourth annual Saddle Up for St. Jude poker run in Ormond Beach raised $126,128 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital — a record for the event, which has grown from $40,000 in its inaugural year. Organized by Sherry Fletcher in partnership with Iron Horse Saloon and law firm Rue & Ziffra, the April 4 ride drew 345 participants including Mayor Jason Leslie and Sen. Tom Wright. The funds mean families at St. Jude can focus entirely on their child's recovery — treatment, housing, and travel are covered at no cost to families. Fletcher came to the cause personally, after her sister-in-law's nephew was treated at St. Jude, and she's been building the event with a group of about 40 volunteers ever since.
