After two decades of investigation, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office has located the remains of Autumn McClure, a teenager who disappeared in 2004. Ina press release yesterday, Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood, shared all the details they were able to uncover about Autumn McClure., Initially, leads went cold despite efforts to trace her last known contacts and movements. The case saw a breakthrough when a key witness revised their statement and another came forward, leading to the confession of Jessica Freeman. Freeman disclosed that Brian Donley, with whom McClure had a relationship, murdered her. McClure's body was found buried under a trailer home, bringing a tragic end to the mystery of her disappearance.

Health Update on Steve Chokvreski (Mr. Pipes)

Chokvreski Family

We recently received this update from Kayla Williams, daughter of Steve Chokvreski (Mr. Pipes) on his battle with stage 4 lung cancer diagnosed in January.

After 27 days of endless suffering, Steve (Mr. Pipes) is finally feeling some relief. As he is about to begin his second round of chemo and immunotherapy, his mindset is filled with determination to beat this rare form of cancer. Following his first days of chemotherapy, he definitely has encountered some ups and downs, but our amazing doctors were able to come up with a plan for his pain management, and although he is still facing some discomfort, his pain levels have definitely subsided since taking these steps. I undoubtedly can speak for myself, my dad, my mom, and all of my siblings, that the support of the community has been heartwarming and extremely impactful on all of us as we accompany him through his unexpected battle. Every generous donation has gone towards his medical bills and procedures. As he so selflessly serves this community, I am honored to watch him battle with so many people standing by in support. Thank you.

Steve is the owner of the Mr. Pipes Plumbing services. Friends have started a GoFundMe campaign to help the Chokvreski’s with medical bills. You can make a donation here.
