🦪 Oyster Power: Volunteers Needed for Super Build
Oysters for My Neighborhood is aiming high—500 Vertical Oyster Gardens in one day. Volunteers are needed on June 28 at River Lily Inn in Holly Hill for this eco-ambitious event. These eco-friendly structures, made of recycled oyster shells, help clean local waters and support marine life. Organizers hope to break their previous record of 420 and stock Ormond Beach docks for a full year. Donations of coolers, tables, and ice are welcome.

While the shop now boasts public restrooms, a porch, and expanded product lines, Ike’s collard greens and signature charm remain unchanged. City commissioners debated whether his name should be featured on the building—but Ike says his legacy will carry on through his son.
