Finally, Skincare That Boosts NAD+ At the Source

For decades, skincare has focused on aesthetic results. But we started by asking a different question: what if instead of trying to preserve our skin's youth, we prioritized optimizing our skin's function? That's how Aramore’s  NAD+ skincare was born.

Developed by Harvard & MIT scientists, Aramore is a skincare system based on skin’s performance, not just its appearance. NAD+ production slows down significantly as we age, and this causes all the telltale science of aging.

Aramore is the only skincare formulated to help skin produce NAD+ like much younger skin would. The result? Skin that’s stronger, firmer,  and more resilient, that not only looks better, but stays healthier over time.

🇺🇸 The Capt. James Ormond Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution inducted its newest member, Allison Phillips, at its April meeting — bringing the chapter's total membership to 120. For a local chapter of an organization whose membership requires documented lineage to the American Revolutionary era, 120 members in a single community chapter is no small thing. Dr. Michelle Brown, a Bethune-Cookman University graduate and CEO of Brown Transformation Consulting, published her first book in March — "The S.P.A.R.K. Effect: A Framework Redefining Leadership of the Future." The acronym stands for Strategy, Plan, Action, Results, and KPI Knowledge, but the book's real engine is Brown's own story: a first-generation college student from Southern California who arrived at B-CU on a Division I softball scholarship, finished her bachelor's degree in three years, stayed for a master's, and eventually earned a doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. The book emerged from a personal moment of feeling stuck — and the recognition that many organizations and individuals face the same thing. Her consulting work, she says, is about moving people and institutions from knowing what the problems are to actually solving them. Find it wherever books are sold.

🔍What began as a city audit into the Daytona Beach Fire Department's purchasing cards has expanded into what the Florida Attorney General's office is now calling an active criminal investigation. Seven city officials have been directed to surrender their phones, tablets, computers, and other personal devices used for city business. The list includes City Manager Deric Feacher, Growth Management Director James Morris, Mayor Derrick Henry, commissioners Dannette Henry and Paula Reed, Fire Chief Dru Driscoll, and Business Enterprise Management Director Michael Stallworth. State investigators are seeking emails, text messages, social media communications, and documents tied to specific topics — among them, inquiries about the Florida Joint Legislative Auditing Committee, a Ford F-250 truck purchase, a specific property on Orange Avenue, a former fire department employee, and use of terms like "whistleblower" and "attorney general." State Sen. Tom Wright, who originally requested the audit, said investigators keep finding new issues. The city clerk must appear before a statewide prosecutor on May 13. As always: subpoenas compel testimony and document production; they do not establish guilt.

🌊A 32-year-old woman died Saturday evening after being pulled from the ocean near the Main Street Pier in Daytona Beach. Volusia County Beach Safety responded around 7:38 p.m. after another swimmer, caught in the same rip current, alerted rescuers that a woman had gone under. Lifeguards initiated a Code X — a missing person in the water — and located her floating 80 to 100 meters offshore. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she died. The other swimmer was treated for exhaustion. It is the second rip current fatality in the county in recent weeks, arriving on the same weekend that the formal sea turtle nesting season begins. The ocean does not care about the calendar, and rip currents do not announce themselves. Please swim near a staffed lifeguard tower.
