Issue #965

Investors see ANOTHER return from Masterworks (!!!!)
That’s 6 sales in 7 months. 29 all time. And the performance?
16.5%, 17.6%, and 17.8%, net annualized returns on sold works held longer than one year (See all 29 at Masterworks.com)
It’s not from stocks, private equity, or real estate… it’s from contemporary and post war art. Crazy, right?
With Masterworks, you don’t need to be a BILLIONAIRE to invest in multi-million dollar art anymore.
Historically, the segment overall has had attractive appreciation and low correlation to stocks.*
Masterworks targets works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, identifying what they believe to have significant long-term appreciation potential, not just at the artist level but at the level of individual artworks.
As one of the largest players in the art market, with $1.3 billion invested over 500 artworks, they pass critical advantages through to their 70,000+ members to add art to their portfolios strategically.
Looking to diversify your investments in 2026?

📱 Volusia County Schools Disables Facebook Comments
Volusia County Schools has turned off comments on its official Facebook page, saying the move is intended to better serve students, families, and the community. In a statement posted to the district's page, officials said they will continue sharing updates, announcements, and student recognitions through their official communication channels but will no longer allow public comments on Facebook posts. The district also emphasized that only its official communication channels represent Volusia County Schools and encouraged anyone with questions or concerns to contact the appropriate department directly. To make that easier, the announcement included a directory listing contact information for district departments so inquiries can be answered accurately and promptly.

🚔 Flagler Operation Rescues Three Human Trafficking Victims
Flagler County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested ten people and rescued three human trafficking victims during a four-day undercover operation known as Operation Innocence Shield. Working with multiple law enforcement agencies through the Northeast Florida Inter-Agency Child Exploitation and Persons Trafficking Task Force, detectives targeted both individuals advertising sexual services online and those attempting to purchase them. Authorities say three women identified as trafficking victims were connected with nonprofit support services through Operation Light Shine, while additional suspects were arrested on prostitution, drug, and related charges. Investigators say the case remains active, with digital evidence still being analyzed and additional arrests expected as detectives continue identifying suspected traffickers and potential victims. Sheriff Rick Staly called the operation a significant step in removing trafficking from the community, while state officials praised the collaborative effort. For a complete list of arrests, charges, and additional details about the ongoing investigation, readers are encouraged to visit the source article.

🌳 Free Florida State Park Admission Returns for Fourth of July Weekend
Looking for an affordable holiday weekend adventure? Florida residents and visitors can enjoy free day-use admission to most of the state's 175 parks from July 3 through July 5 as part of the celebration of America's 250th birthday. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection says the annual promotion encourages everyone to explore Florida's beaches, springs, trails, historic sites, and other natural attractions without paying entrance fees. There are a few exceptions, however. Free admission does not apply to Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, Skyway Fishing Pier State Park, or Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. Overnight camping, cabin stays, concessions, rentals, and special event fees will still apply where applicable, making this a great opportunity to enjoy Florida's outdoors while keeping holiday costs low.
