See What's Moving Before Wall Street Wakes Up
Most of us hear about a stock move after it happens — an earnings report, an AI contract, a sector suddenly running — and by the time the news reaches us, the opportunity is gone.
We created Elite Trade Club to fix that.
Each trading day, our team publishes a pre-market briefing built for active traders: stocks surging or collapsing before the open, key earnings that could move markets, under-the-radar companies gaining institutional attention, and the macro events worth watching today.
Fast, practical, straight to the point.
That's why 450,000+ traders rely on us every morning. Get the daily briefing free — no cost, no catch.

🚀 “Space Jellyfish” Lights Up the Sky
Florida’s early risers received an unexpected light show as far north as Maryland Tuesday when a SpaceX launch created a glowing “space jellyfish.”
The effect occurs near sunrise or sunset when sunlight illuminates a rocket’s exhaust plume high above the darker ground below. Its spreading cloud and wispy trails resemble a jellyfish floating through the sky.
The Falcon 9 launched from Kennedy Space Center on a resupply mission to the International Space Station. Photos quickly spread across social media, capturing a memorable start to the morning.

🚂 Bunnell Rejects Fuel Terminal Funding
Bunnell commissioners unanimously rejected $10 million in state subsidies tied to a proposed Belvedere Terminals fuel facility.
The company sought a 300,000-gallon storage terminal along the Florida East Coast Railway. The funding rejection places another major obstacle in its path.
The decision follows opposition elsewhere in the region, including Ormond Beach and Palm Coast. Volusia County rejected state funding for the Ormond-area proposal in March 2025, while Flagler County later declined to pursue grant money for the project.

Meanwhile, creativity filled Daytona’s Historic Midtown during Maker Faire Daytona on Oct. 10. More than 350 visitors explored wood carving, robotics, block printing and hands-on science activities.
Participants included Volusia Wood Carvers, student robotics teams, Bethune-Cookman University students and local artists.
Founder Valerie Uy highlighted the connections between generations, with experienced craftspeople teaching children while young innovators demonstrated technology nearby.
The free event brought artists, engineers, educators and hobbyists together—a reminder that some of the community’s best ideas begin with someone willing to share a skill.

☀️ Study Points to Longer Hot Seasons
Looking ahead, University of Florida researchers say Florida is experiencing longer stretches of extreme heat.
Using records from 28 weather stations through 2022, the study found increasing numbers of days reaching at least 91 degrees across the state. Parts of Central and Northwest Florida showed particularly notable increases.
Researchers project that some Florida locations could experience around 70 such days annually by 2050.
The findings suggest extended runs of hot weather, rather than simply a few extra scorching afternoons—a trend with implications for outdoor activities, workers and cooling needs.

🌟🌟 Winner of Best Coffee Shop!! 🌟🌟
Happy Co Surf & Coffee..
A Dream Built on Love, Served by the Cup

Some businesses start with a business plan. Happy Co Surf & Coffee started with an espresso machine, a shared dream, and a love that still shapes every cup.
Owner Kila Wenkart grew up in Volusia County, spending her childhood between Port Orange, DeLand, and New Smyrna Beach. At UCF, she earned a molecular biology degree while working in hospitals and the service industry. Then she met Sean.
Before graduation, the couple renovated an RV and spent six months traveling the country. On their first anniversary, Sean gave Kila her first espresso machine. Thirteen years later, she still has it.

That gift sparked more than a passion for coffee: the joy of making something exactly the way another person likes it. Years working at Grand Cafe in Fort Lauderdale helped nurture their dream of opening a shop together. Sean passed away five years after giving Kila that machine. Happy Co is her tribute to him—and the happiness a cup of coffee can bring.
Opening took persistence. After eight years of planning, Kila endured a 16-month wait for county construction approval and significant financial strain. The doors finally opened December 30, 2024, turning a long-held dream into a neighborhood gathering place. Curiously, Kila looked at many locations over 3 years and at the current location, the key box code was 7326. Which spells Sean and was also the password on her phone. She knew it was the right place!

Today, Happy Co pairs Jacksonville’s Bold Bean coffee with New York bagels, organic milk and eggs, and fresh local produce. Think healthy yet indulgent food, without seed oils or preservatives. Local art, locally shaped surfboards, vendor markets, and original live music give neighbors more reasons to connect. And for you GL:UTEN FREE folks Kila offers many options for you as well.

Kila plans to keep that momentum going with paint-and-sip events, plant bingo, networking socials, and more. Follow @Happyco.obc on Instagram for upcoming happenings.
Come meet Kila at 1210 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach.
